Lincoln's King honored by MIAA

Lincoln’s Latoya King is the MIAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week yet again.

The accolade is the third such honor in the Blue Tiger junior’s career.

King won the 100-meter dash Friday at the Washington University-St. Louis Mini Meet, clocking in at 11.93 seconds. The time leads the MIAA, sits sixth out of all NCAA Division II athletes and registers as a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA Championships.

King also was part of Lincoln’s 4x100-meter relay team that broke the meet record with a time of 46.01. She was joined by Yanique Ellington, Anna-Kay James and Donna-Lee Hylton.
