Here's a county-by-county list of state highway projects scheduled in the coming week around Mid-Missouri.
Cole County
• Route B over the Osage River bridge north of St. Thomas - Bridge rehabilitation will begin this week. One lane will be open, and temporary traffic signals will move traffic through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
• Route NN between Railroad Road and Lookout Trail - Roadside maintenance will take place April 1-4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Boone County
• Stadium Boulevard at Interstate 70 - Construction of a diverging diamond interchange is under way. Motorists should be prepared for periodic street and lane closures and delays. Construction is scheduled to be completed in winter of 2014.
• I-70 over Hominy Creek west of exit 131- Bridge and pavement replacement in the westbound lanes is scheduled to begin this week. Much of the work currently taking place will not affect traffic. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
• U.S. 63 between Peabody Road and Hinton Road - Roadside maintenance in the southbound lanes will take place Monday through Thursday. One southbound lane will be open through the work area.
Camden County
• Missouri 5 bridge over the Lake of the Ozarks at Hurricane Deck - Bridge replacement continues. Crews continue to set steel girders on the concrete piers. This will require a closure of the existing Hurricane Deck Bridge several times a day for 15 minutes at a time. This process continues over the next three to four months. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2014.
Cooper County
• I-70 over the Lamine River west of Route M - Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place during the upcoming week. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
• Missouri 87 between I-70 and the Moniteau County line - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
• U.S. 54 bridge over the Osage River east of Wood River Road - Bridge rehabilitation in the westbound lanes is under way. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in May.
• Missouri 42 between Missouri 17 and Missouri 134 - Shoulder widening work will resume in April. The entire project is scheduled for completion in July.
• Missouri 42 between Missouri 17 and Route TT - Roadside maintenance will take place April 2-4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route K between Bethany Road and Cannor Ridge Road - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday and Wednesday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route BB between Missouri 42 and Missouri 133 - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday through April 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County
• Route N between Missouri 87 and Route NN - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Morgan County
• Missouri 52 through the city of Versailles - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County
• U.S. 50 between U.S. 63 and Route W - Construction of new lanes. Much of the work currently taking place will not affect traffic. The entire project is scheduled for completion in fall 2014.
• U.S. 50 between Route A and Route W - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
