A Tebbetts family was helped Friday by the Red Cross after an afternoon fire destroyed their home on Missouri 94.
Firefighters from the South Callaway Fire Protection District responded to the fire, which was fully involved when they arrived. They were aided by firefighters from the Holts Summit Fire Protection District, according to public information officer Scot Pasley.
Pasley said no one was home at the time of the fire, and firefighters deemed the fire too dangerous for anyone to enter the structure.
Firefighters were on the scene for more than two hours.
