Prep Baseball: Vienna 6, Russellville 2

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - The Russellville Indians started the season on a down note, falling 6-2 to Vienna on Tuesday.

Clayton Harrison had one hit and one RBI for the Indians, while Zach Wallace had a pair of hits.

Alex Thompson took the loss in relief, working 3 2/3 innings. He allowed four runs (one earned) on four hits while striking out three.

Trenton Miller was the winner, as he scattered five hits over 5 1/3 innings. Both runs he gave up were earned and he struck out two.

Russellville, which won the JV game 6-5, will play Friday in the Show-Me Conference Tournament.
