The Cole County Public Works Department has announced that the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Westview Drive, between Westview Court and Woodway Drive, will be closed to through traffic from March 25 until about June 1.
A contractor for the county will be doing storm sewer and sanitary sewer replacement work.
The road will be open to local traffic only.
Motorists will be able to use a signed detour route.
Cole County
• Route B over the Osage River bridge north of St. Thomas - Bridge rehabilitation will begin the week of March 25. One lane will be open, and temporary traffic signals will move traffic through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Boone County
• Stadium Boulevard at Interstate 70 in Columbia - Construction of a diverging diamond interchange will begin this upcoming week. Motorists should still be prepared for periodic street and lane closures and delays. Construction is scheduled to be completed in winter of 2014.
• U.S. 63 over I-70 - Bridge inspection in the northbound and southbound lanes will take place during the week of March 25. One northbound and one southbound lane will be open through the work area.
• U.S. 63 between Route H and Westbrook Road - Roadside maintenance in the northbound and southbound lanes will take place Monday through Thursday. One northbound and one southbound lane will be open through the work area.
• Providence Road over Hinkson Creek south of Champions Drive - Bridge inspection will take place during the week of March 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Stadium Boulevard over Hinkson Creek west of Old U.S. 63 - Bridge inspection will take place during the week of March 25. One lane will be open through the work area.
• I-70 Drive at Route Z - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through Friday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route N between Missouri 163 and the end of state maintenance - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday and Wednesday. The road will be closed from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. both days. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Callaway County
• Route T between U.S. 54 and the end of state maintenance - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route JJ between Route Z and Route UU - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
• Missouri 5 bridge over the Lake of the Ozarks at Hurricane Deck - Bridge replacement continues.
Crews continue to set steel girders on the concrete piers. This will require a closure of the existing Hurricane Deck Bridge several times a day for 15 minutes at a time. This process continues over the next three to four months. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2014.
Cooper County
• I-70 over the Lamine River west of Route M - Bridge inspection will take place during the week of March 25. One lane will be open through the work area.
• Missouri 87 between I-70 and the Moniteau County line - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through March 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries and Miller counties
• Route BB between Missouri 17 and Route PP - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
• U.S. 54 bridge over the Osage River east of Wood River Road - Bridge rehabilitation in the westbound lanes is under way. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in May.
• Missouri 42 between Missouri 17 and Missouri 134 - Shoulder widening work will resume in April. The entire project is scheduled for completion in July.
• Missouri 42 between Missouri 17 and Route TT - Roadside maintenance will take place Thursday and March 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Missouri 52 between Missouri 17 and Woods Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday through March 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Missouri 87 between Route P and Boulder Road - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through March 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route D between U.S. 54 and the end of state maintenance - Roadside maintenance will take place March 27-28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route K between Bethany Road and Cannor Ridge Road - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday and Tuesday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route Y between Missouri 52 and Hackler Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Morgan County
• Route T south of Briar Patch Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday and Tuesday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County
• U.S. 50 between U.S. 63 and Route W - Construction of new lanes. Much of the work currently taking place will not affect traffic. The entire project is scheduled for completion in fall 2014.
• U.S. 50 between Route A and Route W - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
