The Jefferson City JV team started the season with a pair of wins Saturday.
The Jays opened the year with an 8-1 win over Springfield Glendale, as Kyle Irwin got the win.
Adam Grunden then picked up the victory as Jefferson City beat Helias 5-0.
The Jays return to action Tuesday at Waynesville.
