Your Opinion: Behavior modification on students and guns
Friday, March 15, 2013
Dear Editor:
The public school system has been the raspberry seed in our wisdom for a long time. Unbeknownst, we are now in the world of George Orwell. The progressives are using behavior mod to advance their own agenda to gradually shape children into fearing handguns.
Children are punished by humiliation, arrest and suspension if found with pop tarts shaped as a gun, drawings of guns, pictures of guns, key chain guns and imaginary guns, including an F grade if the child’s written essay concerns a family trip to a rifle range, as being a too violent subject.
The child will become a type-C personality, become fearful of authority figures and have difficulties with assimilating into society, more of a subject than a citizen.
“Behavior Mod will be used to enforce the prevailing beliefs of society.” Philip J. Hilts.
Or are they early warnings of Big Brother and 1984?
