Your Opinion: Identifying the problem

Dear Editor:

While Rome burns, Joe Coret and Harold Horstmann fiddle around about whether Rush Limbaugh is relevant? Then there is Raymond Greenslit inferring that actors, newspapers, journalists, politicians, business people and unions are co-opted to impact on popular culture and public opinion?

Any person that pays attention to any actor, Limbaugh or a union is absolutely qualified as an uneducated voter. But, we have elected (twice mind you) the very most unqualified person to the presidency of the United States of America.

A country so disappointed in the government's performance re-elected 353 of 373 incumbents of the House. You really do get the government you deserve and if Coret, Greenslit and Horstmann are any indication of the future of this country, well, we are getting the government we deserve.

We continue to squander resources in material and personnel overseas to wars that need to be stopped and countries that are not and never will be our allies. But yet we debate if actors and such, along with Limbaugh are the problem?

We are the problem! We have seen the enemy and it is us!
