Columbia College men win, women lose
Cougars advance in National Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Columbia College Cougars are the No. 1 seed in this week’s NAIA National Tournament and showed why Wednesday, rolling to a 68-37 victory against Oklahoma City.
Columbia College (34-0) got 21 points and 13 rebounds from Jordan Dressler in the victory.
Columbia College is back in action at 6:15 p.m. Friday against Hope International (Calif.), which defeated Emmanuel (Ga.) College 80-62 on Wednesday.
Lady Cougars eliminated
FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Columbia College Lady Cougars dropped a 62-56 decision Wednesday to Shawnee State (Ohio) in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament.
Julie Teeple (Versailles High School) had her fifth double-double of the season in her final collegiate game for the Lady Cougars, totaling 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Columbia College, ranked No. 13, ends its year at 27-7.
