COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Jack McInerney scored in the 79th minute to lead the Philadelphia Union to a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Sunday.

Amobi Okugo had a first-half goal for Philadelphia (1-1). The third-year MLS expansion team was 0-3-2 in its first five meetings with the Rapids.

Antoine Hoppenot found McInerney in stride along the right side and he beat goalkeeper Matt Pickens to break a 1-1 tie.

Jamie Smith scored in the 69th minute for Colorado (0-2). The Rapids had been unbeaten (6-0-3) in their previous nine home openers.

The game had been rescheduled from Saturday because of a snowstorm.

EARTHQUAKES 2, RED BULLS 1

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) - Rookie Adam Jahn scored his first professional goal and then set up Chris Wondolowski's game-winning penalty in second-half injury time to give San Jose a come-from-behind win over New York.

Wondolowski scored in the 92nd minute with his second try at the penalty kick, which came about when Jahn headed a corner kick into the left arm of New York defender Roy Miller. New York goalkeeper Luis Robles saved the first attempt by Wondolowski, but referee Ricardo Salazar awarded San Jose another chance after Miller entered the penalty area too soon.

Eric Alexander scored for New York in the 17th minute. Jahn tied it in the 83rd minute.

CHIVAS USA 3, FC DALLAS 1

CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Oswaldo Minda scored in the 76th minute and Chivas USA rallied to defeat FC Dallas.

Down 1-0, Juan Agudelo tied the game with a left-footed finish in the 68th minute.

After Minda scored to give Chivas USA a 2-1 lead, Giovani Casillas added a goal in the 90th minute.

David Ferreira opened the scoring for FC Dallas early in the 57th minute.
