PAC-12 TOURNAMENT

SEATTLE (AP) - Chiney Ogwumike had a double-double by halftime, finished with 23 points and 21 rebounds and No. 4 Stanford remained perfect against Washington State with a 79-60 win Friday night in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals.

The Cardinal won their 15th straight and improved to 55-0 all-time against the Cougars. They will play No. 18 Colorado in the semifinals on Saturday night after the Buffaloes beat Washington 70-59

It was Ogwumike's second 20-20 this season. She had 27 points and 24 rebounds against Oregon.

Lia Galdeira led Washington State with 18 points. The Cougars had coach June Daugherty back on the bench a day after she underwent an emergency appendectomy.

Sara James added 17 points - 14 in the second half - and Joslyn Tinkle scored 10 for the Cardinal. Stanford beat Washington State last Saturday in Pullman 72-50 for its 54th straight win over the Cougars.

Ogwumike finished the first half with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

NO. 5 CALIFORNIA 78, USC 59

SEATTLE (AP) - Gennifer Brandon has 17 points and 16 rebounds, and California scored the first 11 points on its way to a rout of USC in the Pac-12 quarterfinals.

California, the No. 2 seed despite sharing the regular season crown with Stanford, will face No. 14 UCLA in the semifinals after the Bruins beat Utah 54-43.

Brandon led a balanced scoring attack for the Golden Bears, who clinched a share of their first conference title in school history last Saturday with a win over Washington. Afure Jemerigbe and Brittany Boyd both added 15 as California (28-2) won its 16th straight.

Cassie Harberts led USC (11-20) with 24 points.

NO. 14 UCLA 54, UTAH 43

SEATTLE (AP) - Jasmine Dixon and Atonye Nyingifa both scored 11 points, and UCLA held off Utah's second-half rally to reach the semifinals of the Pac-12 tournament.

The Bruins will play No. 5 California in the semifinals on Saturday night. UCLA (24-6) was swept by California during the regular season, including a 28-point loss at home last month.

Alyssia Brewer added 10 points for the Bruins, but missed a large portion of the game after leaving with an injury midway through the first half. She limped off the court with 8:59 left in the first half, but returned early in the second half.

Michelle Plouffe had 10 points and 14 rebounds for Utah (18-13), but made just 3 of 13 shots.

NO. 18 COLORADO 70, WASHINGTON 59

SEATTLE (AP) - Chucky Jeffery scored 19 points, including a game-clinching uncontested layup with 59 seconds left, and Colorado survived a frigid-shooting first half to beat Washington in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament.

The Buffaloes (25-5), the tournament's No. 4 seed and winners of 10 straight, face top seed and No. 4-ranked Stanford in the semifinals Saturday.

Jazmine Davis scored 17 points for the fifth-seeded Huskies (20-11), who will have to hope for an at-large bid if it they are to play in their first NCAA tournament since 2007.

Jamee Swan added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Colorado.

ACC TOURNAMENT

NO. 6 DUKE 79, N.C. STATE 65

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Tricia Liston scored 10 of her 26 points during a timely run that carried Duke past pesky North Carolina State in an Atlantic Coast Conference quarterfinal.

Freshman Alexis Jones added 17 points for the top-seeded Blue Devils (28-2). They shot just under 44 percent and made a season-high 12 3-pointers, advancing to face No. 23 Florida State (22-8) on Saturday in the semifinals.

Marissa Kastanek scored 18 points for the eighth-seeded Wolfpack (16-16), who were ahead 57-53 with about 7 minutes left. But Duke broke off a 24-5 run during the next 6-plus minutes, with Liston doing most of the damage.

NO. 10 MARYLAND 92, WAKE FOREST 81, OT

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Alyssa Thomas had the first triple-double in ACC tournament history, leading Maryland over Wake Forest in the quarterfinals.

Thomas had a career-high 32 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for her second triple-double this season for the second-seeded Terrapins (24-6).

Maryland scored the first 10 points of OT, with Thomas starting the run by hitting a twisting layup with 3:45 left. Eight of her points came in overtime to send the Terps into a semifinal matchup against No. 15 North Carolina, which beat Boston College 62-57.

Chelsea Douglas scored a career-high 31 points for the Demon Deacons (13-19).

NO. 15 NORTH CAROLINA 62, BOSTON COLLEGE 57

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Tierra Ruffin-Pratt scored 19 points to help North Carolina beat Boston College in the ACC quarterfinals.

Waltiea Rolle added 10 points for the third-seeded Tar Heels (27-5), who advanced to Saturday's semifinals to face 10th-ranked and second-seeded Maryland.

Nicole Boudreau scored 15 for the Eagles (12-19), the second No. 11 seed to win a tournament game with its upset of sixth-seeded Virginia in Thursday's first round.

UNC won both regular-season meetings by 28 points apiece, but this one stayed tight throughout.

Boston College shot only 31 percent (18 of 59) but stayed in it with 10 3-pointers.

NO. 23 FLORIDA ST. 70, MIAMI 58

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Alexa Deluzio scored 11 of her 19 points in the final six minutes to lead Florida State past Miami in the ACC quarterfinals.

Chelsea Davis added 15 points and Yashira Delgado had 12 for the fourth-seeded Seminoles (22-8), who won their first ACC tournament game since 2009 - also the last time they reached the semifinals.

Shawnice Wilson had 18 points and 18 rebounds, and Suriya McGuire added 13 points for the fifth-seeded Hurricanes (21-10). They had 23 turnovers yet closed to 48-44 on Wilson's three-point play with 7:21 left.

Deluzio followed by hitting two sets of free throws to put Florida State up by eight.

SEC TOURNAMENT

NO. 7 KENTUCKY 76, VANDERBILT 65

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) - A'dia Mathies had 16 points and five steals, and Kentucky kept its lead in double figures the last 25 minutes to beat Vanderbilt in the Southeastern Conference tournament.

The last time Vanderbilt trailed by single digits was at 26-17. Kentucky's biggest lead was 52-30 early in the second half, and impressive start to its postseason after the No. 2-seeded Wildcats (26-4) set a school record with 13 SEC regular-season wins.

Kentucky advanced to its fifth SEC semifinal in eight years and will face No. 12 Georgia, which beat No. 22 LSU 71-53. The Wildcats' only tournament championship came in 1982.

Tiffany Clarke had 24 points and 12 rebounds for Vanderbilt (20-11).

NO. 12 GEORGIA 71, NO. 22 LSU 53

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) - Jasmine Hassell scored 19 points, Tiaria Griffin added 15 and Georgia snapped LSU's seven-game winning streak with a victory in the quarterfinals of the SEC tournament.

Advancing to the SEC semis for the first time since 2007, Georgia (25-5) had a double-digit lead for the rest of the game after going ahead 38-27 in the final minute of the first half.

The Lady Bulldogs (25-5) will face No. 7 Kentucky in the semifinals Saturday.

Adrienne Webb had 16 points, Theresa Plaisance added 13 and Danielle Ballard 10 for LSU (20-11).

Each of the Lady Bulldogs' starters scored in double figures with Anne Marie Armstrong adding 12 points, Shacobia Barbee 11 and Jasmine James 10.

NO. 19 TEXAS A&M 61, NO. 17 SOUTH CAROLINA 52

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) - Kristi Bellock scored 17 points, Karla Gilbert added 11 and Texas A&M beat South Carolina in the SEC tournament quarterfinals.

The Aggies (22-9) snapped a three-game losing streak and will play No. 9 Tennessee in the semifinals Saturday.

Ashley Bruner finished with 19 points and Ieasia Walker added 15 for South Carolina (24-7).

Texas A&M survived a scare early in the second half when All-SEC center Kelsey Bone fell to the floor with a right knee injury, but she later returned wearing a brace after missing 6 minutes.

A&M fell behind 30-29 during Bone's absence but regained control with an 11-1 run.

BIG TEN TOURNAMENT

NO. 8 PENN ST. 76, OHIO ST. 66

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) - Alex Bentley scored 20 points, Maggie Lucas added 18 and Penn State beat Ohio State to reach the Big Ten semifinals.

The top-seeded Lady Lions (25-4) had their difficulties in this one after earning a first-round bye and their second straight regular-season title with a 14-2 conference record.

They went on a big run early in the second half to break a tie and set up a meeting against Michigan State. The Spartans beat Michigan 62-46.

Tayler Hill scored 23 points for Ohio State (18-13) and became the fifth Buckeyes player to hit the 2,000-point mark. She has 2,015 in her career.

NO. 21 NEBRASKA 76, IOWA 61

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) - Jordan Hooper scored 24 points to lead Nebraska into the Big Ten semifinals with a win over Iowa.

Lindsey Moore had 13 points and six assists, and Emily Cady had eight rebounds and six assists for the second-seeded Huskers (23-7), who will face No. 3 seed Purdue in the semis. The Boilermakers beat Wisconsin 74-62.

Rachel Theriot's 3-pointer just before halftime gave Nebraska a 34-24 lead, and the Huskers led by as many as 27 in the second half.

Theairra Taylor scored 22 points and Melissa Dixon added 18 for the Hawkeyes (20-12).
