The author of a book about women's suffrage in Missouri will be held Thursday at the Missouri State Archives.
Author Margot McMillen will discuss her new book "The Golden Lane: How Missouri Women Gained the Vote and Changed History."
The book explores the struggle for women's suffrage in Missouri and the instrumental part a 1916 protest in St. Louis played in advancing the issue.
The event, which is being held as part of National Women's History Month, is set for 7 p.m.
