Meyer sets personal record

GENEVA, Ohio — William Woods’ Ryan Meyer finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run Saturday in the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Meyer (Linn High School) set a personal record in the event by finishing in a time of 14:39.28.

That came on the heels of being the last qualifier in Thursday’s prelims, where he recorded a time of 15:05.54.

Meyer’s finish was good enough for him to earn all-American honors.
