Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a Visual Art Academy for youth ages 7-14 from July 8-12. The camp consists of hands-on painting, drawing, cartooning, clay and many other mediums taught by local professional artists and art teachers.
The academy is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the air conditioned McClung Park Pavilion. Supervision is available each day beginning at 8 a.m. and after camp until 4 p.m.
Registration fee is $155 with a registration deadline of July 1.
