It sure didn't take long for the next step in the progression of the slippery slope to total humanism by another 100-year-old institution.
On June 19 the Great Britain's Girl Guides, (their equivalent of our Girl Scouts) and Brownies removed God from their 103-year-old oaths. I would like to reference the website http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2013/06/20/Girl-Scouts-and-Brownies-of-Britain-Renounce-God.
It's unbelievable that for over 100 years all scouting organizations have produced some of the most patriotic, caring, honest and capable men and women but yet it seems that now it means nothing. Now it's more important to make sure everyone feels good even though it will destroy the whole purpose of all those organizations.
It started with the acceptance of the gay lifestyle in these organizations that is in itself contrary to Christian beliefs. It only stands to reason since now these organizations are essentially hypocritical in their pledges by honoring God but embracing homosexuality that God would be the next to go.
I just wonder how long it will be that our Boy and Girl Scout organizations will follow suit and remove God from their oaths.
