Missouri American Water and contractor Twehous Excavating will be closing part of the northbound lane of Jaycee Drive between Industrial Drive and West Main Street as they make water main repairs.
Detour signs are posted in the area.
The northbound lane will be closed until 5 p.m. Tuesday. The expected completion date for the project is Aug. 9.
Beginning Thursday, Lincoln University and contractor Mechanical Services will close a portion of Chestnut Street for maintenance work.
Weather and construction progress permitting, the work should be completed by 5 p.m. Thursday.
