PORTLAND, Ore (AP) - Darlington Nagbe scored in the 52nd minute and the Portland Timbers ran their MLS unbeaten streak to 13 games with a 1-0 victory over FC Dallas on Saturday.
Portland (6-1-8) pulled within two points of Western Conference-leading Dallas (8-3-4).
Portland hasn't dropped a match since losing to East-leading Montreal 2-1 on March 9. The victory Saturday was the Timbers' sixth during their club-record unbeaten streak.
Dallas lost for only the second time in its past 13 games, but both defeats came on trips to the Pacific Northwest. Dallas lost at Seattle 4-2 on May 18.
Portland won the season series over Dallas, with the teams playing to a 1-1 draw May 8. The Timbers play at Dallas on June 26 in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals, a non-MLS match.
The lone goal was set up early in the second half when Kalif Alhassan passed to Nagbe in the penalty box. Nagbe pivoted to his right and sent a 12-yard shot into the top right corner of the net.
CREW 2, IMPACT 0
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Matias Sanchez and Dominic Oduro scored early and Andy Gruenebaum made three saves as Columbus snapped Montreal's three-match winning streak.
The Crew (5-5-5), who had two ties and a loss in their previous three games, won for the second time in seven home games.
Sanchez scored his first MLS goal in the sixth minute after taking a pass from Oduro and taking a shot that deflected off Montreal's Jeb Brovsky, leaving goalkeeper Troy Perkins going the wrong way.
Oduro netted his team-leading seventh goal in the 22nd, stealing the ball from Collen Warner for a partial breakaway that he finished with a slotted ball past a charging Perkins.
WHITECAPS 4, REVOLUTION 3
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Kenny Miller scored two goals, including the winner, to lead Vancouver over New England.
Camilo, on a penalty kick generated by a Miller scoring opportunity, and Jordan Harvey also scored for the Whitecaps (5-5-4), who are unbeaten in seven home games.
Miller scored in the 68th minute to give Vancouver a 4-2 lead. Running between two defenders, he fielded a long Camilo cross and volleyed the ball into the top right corner from about 20 yards out.
Juan Agudelo, Kelyn Rowe and second-half substitute Dimitry Imbongo scored for the Revolution (5-5-5), whose MLS unbeaten streak end at five matches and their overall run at six.
EARTHQUAKES 2, RAPIDS 1
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Sam Cronin scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute and San Jose beat Colorado to give Mark Watson his first win as interim coach.
Steven Lenhart scored his first goal of the season in the 11th to give San Jose a 1-0 lead, ending a two-match scoreless drought.
Watson replaced Frank Yallop after a 3-0 loss to Real Salt Lake on June 1. The Earthquakes (4-6-6) had only one win in their previous 11 matches and were 0-5-2 on the road under Yallop.
Nathan Sturgis scored in the 67th for Colorado (5-5-5), which snapped a six-match unbeaten streak. The Rapids were 3-0-3 in that span.
TORONTO FC 2, D.C. UNITED 1
WASHINGTON (AP) - D.C. United defender Daniel Woolard knocked the ball into his own net in the 41st minute, giving Toronto FC its first victory since March 9.
Robert Earnshaw scored on a header in the 30th minute after United went ahead 1-0. Then Woolard inadvertently headed the ball into the back of his own net to give Toronto the go-ahead goal.
Toronto (2-7-5) snapped an 11-match winless streak (0-6-5) with its best offensive performance of the season on the road. The club had scored just three times in six previous games away from home.
Dwayne De Rosario had given United (1-11-3) just its second lead of the season in the 19th minute with a goal on a penalty kick.
