Civil War Day on tap June 15

The Missouri State Museum is hosting a Civil War Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June 15 on the south lawn of the Capitol.

Members of the Missouri Irish Brigade of Civil War Re-enactors will interact with visitors.

Programs include: women’s clothing of the era; signal flags; artillery interactive program; Hands-on-History area; and an exhibit in the History Hall.

The event is presented in conjunction with the Museum exhibit, “Civil War Missouri: A House Dividing,” and the 150th anniversary of Missouri’s role in the Civil War.
