Pathways set to break ground on complex

Pathways Community Health, a nonprofit community mental health center, will break ground on a $1 million apartment complex in Jefferson City at 10 a.m. Friday at 3415 N. Ten Mile Drive.

The complex, Russell B. Holt Apartments, will be an eight-unit, affordable, supportive housing complex for low-income people who are homeless, with an emphasis on those affected by a disability.

"As our staff assist individuals to identify housing options, this is one more service added to our continuum of care for disabled and/or homeless individuals," said Linda Grgurich, president of Pathways Community Health.

The complex is expected to open some time next spring. Pathways will share with the public an application process for renting the apartments closer to completion of the project.
