Two arrested for burglarizing JC business

At about 3 a.m. Wednesday, Jefferson City police responded to a burglary alarm at 2102 Missouri Boulevard, Johnny's Pizza and Steak.

When officers arrived on scene, two suspects ran from the rear of the business, and officers gave chase on foot.

One of the suspects was caught approximately two blocks away, where he was taken into custody. The second suspect was not initially located, however K-9 "Buzz" was called to the scene and he tracked the suspect down a short time later. The second suspect, who was hiding in a stolen truck, was then taken into custody by officers.

Investigation at the scene showed forcible entry to the business, and approximately $500 worth of merchandise was taken from the business and subsequently recovered.

Suspects are:

1) Rodney Rominous, age 41, Jefferson City

2) Joshua Temmen, age 21, Jefferson City

Both were arrested for Felony Stealing, Felony Resisting Arrest, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Vehicle Theft.
