Thirty-eight members of the 96th Recruit Class of the Missouri State Highway Patrol hold up their hands and repeat their oath as a trooper Friday on the state Capitol’s south lawn.

Thirty-eight members of the 96th Recruit Class of the Missouri State Highway Patrol took their oath as troopers during commencement ceremonies Friday on the Capitol’s south lawn.

Hundreds of friends and family members joined them and watched with pride as their recruits crossed the stage to accept their diplomas and troop assignments.
