UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Rookie Elena Delle Donne had 23 points and five rebounds and the Chicago Sky scored the game's first 12 points before going on to beat the Connecticut Sun 83-70 on Friday.

Swin Cash had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Sky (10-4), and Sylvia Fowles had 14 points and eight rebounds. Epiphanny Prince added 11 points and six assists and Courtney Vandersloot had seven assists and four steals for Chicago, which has won six of seven.

Tina Charles scored a game-high 29 points with six rebounds for the Sun (3-9), who have lost six of seven. Reserve Mistie Bass scored 13 points.

Connecticut missed its first 10 shots as Chicago grabbed the early lead. Allison Hightower scored the Sun's first points 4:14 into the game.

The Sky led 50-35 at the half.

MYSTICS 83, SILVER STARS 73

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Crystal Langhorne scored 14 points and Washington recovered after blowing a 14-point lead to beat San Antonio.

Ivory Latta had 12 points, Matee Ajavon added 11 and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt scored 10 for Washington (7-7), which has won three of four.

Jia Perkins scored 22 points, Shenise Johnson added 15 and Danielle Adams 14 for San Antonio (4-9). The Silver Stars have lost four of five and eight of 10.

Already without Sophia Young (knee), San Antonio was playing its first home game since losing Becky Hammon for the season to a torn left ACL and it was apparent her scoring was missed.
