Teen on probation for robbery attempt

A Jefferson City teenager has been placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit a robbery in February.

Isiah Alexander, 18, of 131 Brookdale Drive, must also complete 100 hours of community service and has to get his high school diploma.

Jefferson City police said Alexander was part of a group that planned to rob an individual in the 1700 block of West McCarty Street.

Alexander said they had planned the robbery the day before the incident and he was to "knock out" the victim, if needed.
