A Mid-Missouri fugitive for about one year is back in state prison after he was arrested by the Callaway County Sheriff's Department.

Tyron Trower, 40, Auxvasse, was arrested and jailed by Callaway County deputies after he was observed driving on U.S. 54 near Kingdom City.

Trower was wanted on two arrest warrants issued about one year ago. One warrant was for resisting arrest by running from police and the other was for violating parole on a state conviction.

He also was arrested for driving while his driver's license was revoked.

Trower's bond at the Callaway County Jail on the various charges was $10,300. But he did not receive bond on his arrest for the parole violation warrant, and he no longer is in Callaway County Jail.

He was transferred Wednesday to the Missouri Department of Corrections to face the parole violation charge.
