Dear Editor:
In July 5 paper there was a picture of golfer John Daly in his "flag-themed pants" that was a disgrace to our flag. Has anyone ever read the proper flag etiquette?
There are other ways to show our love of our country and Independence Day than to wear clothing that looks like our beautiful flag. Our flag stands for peace, honor, truth and justice and in these times it is hard to remember that with Obama in office.
I hope the people who voted for that man are proud of their vote.
