Two Memphis, Mo., residents were killed in a two-vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 54 at Route AA in Miller County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Ford Explorer, driven northbound by Elva L. Farris, 77, Olean, failed to yield to a 2002 Honda VTX1800 motorcycle, driven eastbound by Christopher S. VanHoozen, 40, Memphis.
VanHoozen and a passenger Cynthia M. VanHoozen, 38, Memphis, were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene by Miller County Coroner Rick Callahan.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt or safety device.
