Central Missouri came in as the hottest team in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, winners of eight straight and in sole possession of first place.
That wasn’t going to change against the last-place Lincoln Blue Tigers.
The Mules looked every bit like a potential conference champion with a 111-72 victory against Lincoln on Wednesday night at Jason Gym.
“Best team in the conference came and showed why they’re the best team in the conference,” Lincoln head coach John Redmond said. “Put it to our butts.”
