Girls Basketball: Helias 48, Washington 37

WASHINGTON, Mo. — Helias started the St. Francis Borgia Invitational in style.

The second-seeded Lady Crusaders beat seventh-seeded Washington 48-37 on Monday night.

Helias jumped out to a 13-6 lead after one quarter, took a 27-16 advantage into halftime and led 41-25 heading into the final period.
