“We each do a little, we all do a lot.” This is the motto for one group in Jefferson City that hopes to make a difference, one “mob” at a time.
JCMO Cash Mob founder Chris Bell and his wife, Stephanie, both grew up in Jefferson City. When they were presented with the idea to start a “cash mob” group last summer, the couple jumped in head first.
“The concept is simple: With $20 in hand, members of our community come together to shop in a locally owned establishment to support their favorite local business and support the JCMO area economy,” the local Cash Mob Facebook page explains.
