Lincoln looks to get back on track

The Lincoln men’s team put together one of its best halves of basketball of the season its last time out, putting a scare into Washburn.

Unfortunately for the Blue Tigers, the second half was nothing to write home about.

Lincoln led by as many as 13 points early before dropping a 76-53 decision to Washburn on Thursday night.

The Lincoln women are looking for a measure of revenge when they host Missouri Western at 1:30 p.m. today.

Missouri Western (12-5, 5-4 MIAA) defeated Lincoln 65-57 on Nov. 24 as part of the LU Thanksgiving Classic.
