Cancer Society gearing up for Daffodil Days

The American Cancer Society is currently taking orders for its oldest fundraiser, Daffodil Days.

The fundraiser allows people to purchase 10 daffodil stems for $10, a vase with 10 daffodil stems for $15 or a Boyds Bear with 10 daffodil stems for $25.

“We started this years ago because daffodils were the first flowers to come up in spring, and they brought cancer patients hope,” said Lois Gilmore, administrative assistant for Daffodil Days Coordinator D’Arcy Crane.
