Council OKs added election expense

The Jefferson City Council approved a bill Tuesday to add $40,000 to the city clerk’s elections account.

The supplemental appropriation was approved by a vote of 7-3, with 2nd Ward Councilman Shawn Schulte, 2nd Ward Councilman J. Rick Mihalevich and 3rd Ward Councilman Bryan Pope voting against the bill.
