COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri coach Frank Haith had a message for his team Tuesday night during halftime of its game against South Carolina.
He wasn’t happy with their toughness during an uneven first half of basketball.
Message received.
Missouri overcame a 13-point second-half deficit and a difficult shooting effort and survived with a 71-65 victory against South Carolina at Mizzou Arena.
“I was very encouraged with our toughness late in the game, particularly in the second half,” Haith said.
