WARDSVILLE, Mo. — The Southern Boone Eagles have become accustomed to taking everyone’s best shot this season, thanks to their appearance in the state rankings.

On Tuesday night, one of their opponents delivered a knockout blow.

The Blair Oaks Falcons started hot and held off a furious charge from the Eagles, eventually claiming a 61-54 victory.
