COLUMBIA — Trying to figure out a way to describe his team’s recent funk, Missouri coach Frank Haith talked about something a motivational speaker recently told his team.

Speaking to the Tigers on Saturday about overcoming adversity in life, motivational speaker Bobby Petrocelli told the Tigers they need to think in terms of the voice on a GPS. When you miss your exit, you have to recalculate.

Through the first four Southeastern Conference games, which has included road losses to Florida and Mississippi by a combined 46 points, Missouri is having trouble recalculating when something goes awry.
