Sometimes all a team needs is a steadying presence, someone to calm things down.

Rarely, if ever, does it come from freshmen.

That’s exactly how it played out for Helias in their 48-41 victory against Fulton on Friday night at Rackers Fieldhouse.

After three Fulton baskets and three Helias turnovers gave the Hornets a 15-8 lead a minute into the second quarter, it was time for a switch.
