COLUMBIA, Mo. — Edwardsville (Ill.) is undefeated and ranked No. 1 among large schools in the St. Louis metropolitan area, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The Lady Tigers showed why Thursday night.

Edwardsville blasted Jefferson City 70-19 in the opening night of the Rock Bridge Invitational.

Jefferson City (2-14) continues play in the Invitational against Jackson at 6 p.m. today. Rock Bridge beat Jackson 56-31 in the other game Thursday night.
