Lincoln men upset MIAA leader NW Missouri State

MARYVILLE, Mo. — It just might be the upset of the season so far in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
The Lincoln Blue Tigers, who entered play Wednesday night in last place in the conference, pulled off a stunning 70-65 victory against the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, who sat atop the league standings before the loss.
Lincoln (3-14, 2-5 MIAA) was in control for most of the night. It went up 30-18 with 3:43 left in the opening half and took a 35-26 edge over Northwest Missouri (11-4, 4-2) going into halftime.
