The influenza vaccine is in high demand in Cole County, as well as across the state and the country.
Many pharmacies and physicians in the area have run out of the vaccine, but the Cole County Health Department replenished its supply Tuesday.
“It’s great that people are following recommendations and taking the flu shot,” said Sameer Gopalani, epidemiology specialist and public health emergency planner with the Cole County Health Department.
