ST. JAMES — A poor start doomed Blair Oaks.

The Falcons fell behind 18-6 after one quarter and couldn’t recover, falling 70-55 to Rolla in the first round of the St. James Tournament on Monday night.

Fifth-seeded Rolla went up 33-20 at halftime and took a 49-40 edge into the final stanza.

Brett Voss led fourth-seeded Blair Oaks with 22 points while Ryan Wilbers added 13.
