Jays host Capital City Invitational

It’s been nearly a month, but the Jefferson City wrestling team is returning to the friendly confines of Fleming Fieldhouse.

The Jays will be back on the mats when they host the 10-team Capital City Invitational today and Saturday.

Jefferson City hasn’t been home since defeating Helias on Dec. 12. Since that time the Jays have competed in the Fox Invitational, the Deep South Bayou Classic in Baton Rouge, La., as well as a pair of dual victories at Rockhurst and Rolla. Jefferson City fared well ....
