Helias 55, Washington 36

UNION — Helias opened the Union Tournament with a 55-36 victory Monday night against Washington.

The second-seeded Lady Crusaders led 12-7 after one quarter, 27-16 at halftime and 37-24 after three quarters.

Bre Zanders and Taylor Hagenhoff both scored 13 points to lead Helias. Hillary Hentges added 10 and Kelsi Bernskoetter had nine.
