Ridle scores 33 as Lincoln men fall to Southwest Baptist

Cedric Ridle Jr. did everything in his power to keep Lincoln in the game. His teammates took the Blue Tigers out of it.
Despite Ridle’s 33 points on 14-of-21 shooting, including 11-of-15 and 27 points in the second half, Lincoln fell 81-74 to Southwest Baptist on Saturday afternoon at Jason Gym in Jefferson City.
“He did what he’s supposed to,” Lincoln coach John Redmond said. “That’s expected of him. That’s what I’ve told him all year, ‘When we’re in crunch, it’s up to you to play,’ and he did that. I’m proud of the way he played, but again he’s got to get help and he’s not getting that. That’s evident. If somebody else steps up we’re alright, but he’s the only one.”

It was a good game though. Unfortunately, a few errors throughout the game cost LU some scoring opportunities. Keep working LU! You'll get there.
