Search for finance director narrows

Jefferson City officials are hoping to have a new finance director in place sometime next month, which would be about five months after the previous director retired.

City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus said the search is progressing and he believes they have narrowed it down to a few final candidates from the initial 73 applicants.
