Officers from the county sheriff's department, Missouri Highway Patrol and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group executed a search warrant at 423 Highway 89 Spur where they arrested Allen Burnett, 22. He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. His bond was set at $50,000.

Authorities seized $1,400 worth of what they called "high quality" marijuana and $1,357 in cash. They also confiscated a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban and a 2001 Honda ATV, all believed by authorities to have been purchased with drug proceeds.

"Taking drug dealers off our streets is one of the top priorities for everyone in law enforcement," Sheriff Michael Dixon noted in a news release about the arrest.
