Chase ends with prison term

A Jefferson City man has been sentenced to two years in prison after leading police on a vehicle and foot chase in August. Leroy Spinks, 26, of 413 Hess Way, was charged with one count of resisting arrest.

Court documents show an officer attempted to stop the vehicle Spinks was riding in in the 800 block of Stadium Boulevard. Authorities had learned Spinks had an outstanding felony warrant out of Wisconsin.
