Boys Basketball: Tipton downs Westran

NEW FRANKLIN, Mo. — Second-seeded Tipton opened play in the New Franklin Tournament with a 71-54 victory over seventh-seeded Westran on Wednesday afternoon.

Tipton led 16-15 after one quarter, 31-26 at halftime and 52-40 after three quarters.
