WARDSVILLE - It probably wasn't their first choice for Senior Night, but Blair Oaks Middle School did just fine for the Falcons' wrestling team.
With the girls' basketball team playing Thursday at the high school, the wrestling squad made the short trip over to the middle school. And it didn't hurt them one bit, as the Falcons rolled to a 51-24 win over Priory and a 62-12 victory over Lutheran: St. Peters.
"Any place that's got green, (the fans) will show up. So that's good," Blair Oaks coach Tim Karsten said.
And as long as the matches were in Wardsville, Karsten didn't care where exactly the double dual took place.
"It was good - we have gone into St. Louis to wrestle them for six years, this is the first time they've come out here, so that's good," he said.
