New Cole County officials sworn in

Newly elected Cole County Western District Commissioner Kris Scheperle had his family with him Monday as he repeated his oath of office in a courthouse ceremony. With Scheperle are his wife, Jennifer, sons Charlie, 7, and Adam, 4, and daughters Hannah, 9, in green and Elly, 7.

Cole County office holders who won their elections in November were sworn into office during ceremonies, Monday, at the county courthouse.

Taking their first oaths of office from Presiding Judge Pat Joyce were Republican Kris Scheperle as Western District Commissioner and Republican Dawnel Davidson as Circuit Clerk. Both will serve four year terms.
