Honors for Holts Summit veterinarian

Known for work in training dogs

Dr. Mar Doering of Holts Summit, center, has been inducted to the Missouri Veterinary Foundation Veterinary Honor Roll. With her is foundation board member Dr. Roger Dozier of Jefferson City and Julie Braun, operations manager of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation of Jefferson City.

Dr. Mar Doering, a Holts Summit veterinarian who also is regarded as an expert in training dogs with behavior problems, has been inducted into the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation’s Veterinary Honor Roll.

In accepting the honor, Doering thanked Julie Braun, operations manager of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. She also thanked the people she works with, including Priscilla Hostman, her husband and her mother.
